Chocolate Sheetcake Brownie Goodness

As you can see, I didn't even get a picture of these before they were devoured. Who can resist a warm chocolate sheet cake brownie though? This was our treat for the day! Lots of laundry and housework done. Soccer practice over. We were due a treat. Now I'm off to deal with the aftermath of creating these yummies. You want one? I know you do! Hee Hee

WOW! What a blessing it was to be one of the few that were able to worship with Evan last night. The room was just saturated in the Spirit. So much talent and they give all the glory to God. It was a struggle to get there, but SO worth it.

Love this!

WE ARE NOT HUMAN BEINGS GOING THROUGH A TEMPORARY SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCE.

WE ARE SPIRITUAL BEINGS GOING THROUGH A TEMPORARY HUMAN EXPERIENCE.

How much better would our daily lives and choices be, our passion and urgency to share Christs love with the world if we would only remember this! This is not my home. Why are the things that are not mine so entangling? So important? I have to daily change the perspective.

My life mission is to know Him and make Him known! I tell the kids often and we pray everyday that we would make fewer mistakes everyday, to make fewer poor choices everyday.

Really know Him and be urgent to make Him known!!!

These felt clips are SOSOSOSO cute! I was talking on the phone to one of the ladies at Moxie Kids in NC and she asked me if I had ever been to this store on Mississippi Ave. in Portland. She was telling me about following them around at the buying conventions like they were rock stars. Take a peek and see what you think. http://www.blackwagon.com/ They have some really cute and funky stuff! Great little boys stuff. Kate should check it out for Liam and Joe! We were also chatting about how the great boys stuff stops at size 8. She said she gets customers complaining about it all the time. For those of us that don't really want to be in the mainstream. Maybe we should take the hint and jump on that!!! Hee hee. Dreamin' I know!

Beautiful!

I hope I can do this justice! SO SO Cute! We went to the fabric store and this is what we came up with. Super soft petal pink anti pilling fleece and this adorable darker pink dot cotton. Can't wait to see her in it!

My poor little hand is just about numb from filling out forms at registration today. Wow. You would think that if the kids are all in one famliy and in the same house you wouldn't have to fill out the same form three seperate times. Come on! Ask me what our Dr.'s address and phone number are??? Just ask, Come on! or maybe the digits of our three emergency contacts????
Anyhow! We are chillin' out at home for a bit before we head over to the church's family swim night. The kiddos are so excited. We are gonna come straight home and hit the hay 'cause we are going to get up at the crack of dawn for our annual hot air balloon viewing. Doughnuts and hot coffee are a must at 6am! Such a fun tradition! My only wish is that it was a little later in the day. I'm such a jolly morning person. Hee hee. ( Not quite as bad as you though sweets) I do have to admit it is really fun and beautiful though.
Trying not to think about the fact that Kutless is going to play in two hours and I will not be there, AGAIN! UGH! As much as I love them, I'm just not meant to see a full concert I guess.
I'm off now to shred some Hawaiian Chicken for dinner. YUM!

Toothless Wonder!

Summer Goodness!

Isn't this just a gorgeous sunset. Took this up at mom and dad's when we were camping. Almost missed it. Lovely field of Cosmos that I finally got a picture of and my very favorite summer breakfast. Fresh sliced peaches and blueberries with splash of cream. YUMMY!
So not much new around here. Posting some listing....Making some money! Yipee. I've been sorting. Sort of a spring cleaning in the late summer. Getting ready for school. I have a small mountain of school supplies in my living room. Registration is tomorrow, so we will be all set for Sept. 4 & 5, first days of school. I have to admit the closer it gets, the weepier I get about my peewee heading off to preschool. I will so miss our alone time. My neighbors are home from Cali now so the kiddos have playmate to keep them busy for the last days of freedom.
I got a new car! Nothing too fancy (the kids think it is the greatest thing since sliced bread) but it is going to serve a purpose. 36 mpg! Not like the beautiful black beast's 14 mpg.
I'm going to be sewing Chloe's Halloween costume this year. At her request, a pink bunny. My mom is such a funny packrat. I mentioned the undertaking to her and she immediately said, "I think I still have the pattern". Here's where we get to the serious flashback for me. I was 4 when my mom sewed a pink bunny costume for me. I wore that little gem everywhere, all the time. Now I'm the mom making the pink bunny costume for my 4 year old with the same pattern my mom used. CRAZY. Today she came to drop off Caleb and in her hand was beat up Simplicity pattern for the pink bunny. Never doubt the packrat!
I better get going and get these hungry, tired monsters some dinner.

Starting Out

I can't seem to keep up with you so I thought if I tried this you might check it out!
